Essen, Germany, 26 September 2023 – PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) will be part of the Lubricant Expo co-located with The Bearing Show, taking place at the Messe Essen, Essen, Germany from 26 – 28 September 2023.
PLI will feature its PETRONAS Iona brand and products, namely the PETRONAS Iona Integra Plus, the fully synthetic, multi-vehicle e-Transmission fluid, specifically developed to deliver optimised performance and component durability for electric transmission.
These solutions are co-developed with IVECO and FPT Industrial for their e-Transfer box which is fitted in their eDaily light commercial vehicles.
Ravi Tallamraju, Group Chief of Technology at PLI said, “Together with IVECO and FPT, we have co-developed new fluids for the new eDaily with the common goal to maximise performance. PETRONAS Iona Integra Plus was specially crafted for the e-Transfer box to reduce churning losses while ensuring durability of the system that is comparable to higher viscosities standard fluids, meeting safety requirements and ensuring excellent oxidation properties even in the case of high temperatures.
Alice Orsi, Marketing Manager ePowertrain for FPT Industrial added, “New technologies require new methods to deploy all their potential, that’s why the collaboration with PETRONAS Lubricants International and IVECO was pivotal to develop a fluid made-to-measure to guarantee and extend over time the exciting performance of our eCD140 Central Drive system for the eDAILY range.”
The eDAILY will also be using the PETRONAS Tutela Axle 900 HD, a 75-W85 axle oil that has been developed for the whole range of IVECO axles, including light and heavy-duty vehicles to maximise efficiency and meet the latest regulations requirements.”
PLI also takes the opportunity to feature PETRONAS Industrial Solutions at the booth showcasing a new, complete range of high-quality lubricating products for industrial applications.
