PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI), the global lubricants manufacturing and marketing arm of PETRONAS, today organised the first Electric Vehicle (EV) Fluids webinar. After the first inaugural EV Fluids Symposium held last year at the Global Research and Technology (R&T) Centre in Turin (Italy), PLI continues the ongoing conversation with the industry-leading experts from across the world to discuss and feature EV innovations that support a cleaner, energy-efficient and more sustainable e-mobility future.

Moderated by Eric Holthusen, PLI Chief Technology Officer, the webinar opened up with a welcome message from Giuseppe D’Arrigo, PLI Group CEO and Managing Director, and continued with insightful speeches from PLI spokepeople and FEV Consulting GmbH. Firstly, Markus Volkening from FEV, shared the latest battery Electric Vehicles innovations and then the webinar proceeded with Ilaria Travi, PLI Project Manager Automotive Fluids Development, explaining how tailor made fluids for e-motor cooling works.
Fabio Cova Caiazzo and Giulia Piana, both PLI Project Manager Automotive Fluids Development, carried on with their presentations about corrosivity assessment and compatibility with electronics and the effective battery immersive cooling. After each sessions, all the speakers participated to Q&As with guests from all over the world.
