Development of Re-Refined Base Oil Products
We have established strong partnerships with producers of Re-Refined Base Oil (RRBO) and Bio Base Oil, as well as suppliers of recycled plastic packaging. We o er RRBO and bio-based formulations for technical evaluation, particularly in combination with PETRONAS ETRO+ base oil, which features one of the lowest carbon footprints in the Group III+ category.
Our comprehensive capabilities ensure that we meet OEM performance requirements and obtain the necessary approvals.
UN-Certified PETRONAS Bag-In-Box
As part of our commitment to sustainability and circularity, we offer an innovative, eco-friendly packaging solution suitable for various markets. Our Bag-in-Box (BIB) carton pack is UN Mark Certified, ensuring that products are packaged securely to withstand harsh conditions during shipping and transportation.
The production of Bag-in-Box (BIB) reduces carbon emissions and waste while incorporating recycled materials, cutting plastic usage by up to 92%, and requiring up to 85% less material compared to traditional plastic bottles. Furthermore, BIB optimizes workshop space, enabling easier display and storage while freeing up to 9% of valuable space.

In September 2024, PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) and Stellantis N.V. launched the co-branded Selenia SUSTAINera engine oils. This partnership synergizes Stellantis's commitment to sustainable, safe, and a ordable mobility with our expertise in superior engine performance, derived from the Formula One innovations.
By transforming waste into valuable products, we address evolving customer demands while progressing toward our Net Zero Carbon Emission goals. The Selenia SUSTAINera range embodies our shared dedication to environmental responsibility, supported by over a century of combined expertise.
Selenia SUSTAINera Lubricants
Co-developed with Stellantis, Selenia SUSTAINera is a synthetic technology lubricant made from recycled base oils and packaged in recyclable plastic. Engineered for sustainability, it carries the SUSTAINera label, which covers all of Stellantis’s Circular Economy initiatives throughout the vehicle's life cycle. This product reduces carbon footprints while delivering exceptional vehicle performance.
Following the introduction of Selenia SUSTAINera engine oils, the two partners are expanding the sustainable product range for Stellantis brands, bringing us a step closer to our Net Zero Carbon Emission aspirations.
